Head coaches Ben Howland and Cori Close, the Bruin men's and women's basketball teams and the UCLA Athletic Department have dedicated their support for this fourth annual event. It will raise funds for pediatric cancer research through the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and the Cancer Research Program at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA on the Bruin campus.

This is a fun-filled day, where participants will be given the opportunity to meet the UCLA basketball teams and head coaches. In addition, other UCLA athletes will be in attendance to support the event. Participants are asked to bring their own basketball and “Dribble for the Cure” on a course winding through the UCLA campus. The event will feature a festival of games, autographs and pictures with players, along with food and entertainment prior to the start of the event. Each participant will be asked to collect pledges for their “dribble” and will be eligible for prizes based on the amount of pledge money turned in by the date of the event. In addition, each participant will receive a “Dribble for the Cure” t-shirt and goodie bag .
